Reserving Tuesday for sales activity regardless of how busy delivery days are breaks this cycle permanently. Will this work with my calendar app?
Yes. The .ics file is a universal calendar standard supported by Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, Fantastical, and virtually every other calendar app.
What if I only have one or two clients and don't need two delivery days?
Treat the extra delivery day as overflow time — finish client work early and use the rest for building: creating a new product, writing more content, or doing outreach. As your client load grows, the delivery days fill naturally. The template is designed to scale with the business, not lock you into a fixed output level.
Is a half-day Friday realistic or will clients expect Friday afternoon availability?
Set the expectation upfront. Most clients are perfectly happy with a Friday-morning-only response window if you communicate it clearly. You can add a simple email auto-responder: 'I'm unavailable Friday afternoons — I'll respond Monday morning.' Protecting Friday afternoon is one of the highest-ROI decisions a solopreneur can make, as it prevents the business from consuming the week entirely.
What if a sales call or client call needs to happen outside the designated days?
Let clients and prospects schedule into Tuesday (sales calls) or Wednesday/Thursday (client calls) using a scheduling link with those availability windows set. When someone can't fit those windows, use judgment — an important new client call might justify a Tuesday-style exception. But make the deviation intentional, not a default.
