I said "cancel all meetings Wednesday and move my gym to 9am" — two changes, one sentence. I can't go back to dragging events around.

The cost tracking alone is worth it. I can see exactly what my week costs across three currencies. No spreadsheet, no app switching.

Setup took literally 60 seconds. Connected Google Calendar, typed my first command, and it just worked. I was on Reclaim for months trying to configure rules.

Questions
What makes UCals different from a regular calendar?
A regular calendar stores events. UCals manages your schedule through conversation. Say “move gym to 9” and it moves. Say “cancel all meetings Wednesday” and they’re gone. It understands plain English, tracks costs, detects conflicts, and handles 11 life categories — not just work meetings. It’s the difference between a filing cabinet and an executive assistant.
How does the AI understand what I want?
UCals uses natural language processing purpose-built for calendars. It has 12 specialized tools — for adding, moving, removing, and modifying events, detecting conflicts, calculating travel time, tracking costs, and more. It remembers context across messages, so “make it 3pm” after “add dentist Friday at 2pm” just works. No need to repeat yourself.
What happens to my Google Calendar?
Nothing changes. UCals syncs with Google Calendar in both directions — changes you make in either place show up in both. Your Google Calendar stays exactly where it is. UCals adds intelligence on top of it.
Can I undo changes the AI makes?
Yes, always. Say “undo” and your calendar snaps back to exactly where it was before the last change. UCals also shows you what it changed — a clear before-and-after comparison in the chat — so you see every modification. You stay in control.
Is my calendar data safe?
Yes. UCals is GDPR and CCPA compliant. Your calendar data syncs through your own Google account and Firebase. We do not sell, share, or train on your data. You can access, export, or delete your data at any time — it’s your data, not ours.
Is there a mobile app?
UCals is desktop-first — macOS now, with iOS in active development. Windows and Android are on the roadmap. We chose to ship a great desktop experience first rather than a mediocre one on every platform at once. Your Google Calendar mobile app continues to work alongside UCals in the meantime.
How is this different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a general chatbot. UCals is a purpose-built calendar system with 12 specialized tools: conflict detection, travel time calculation, multi-currency cost tracking, location intelligence, learned preferences, linked events, and more. It reads and writes to your actual calendar in real time. ChatGPT cannot access, modify, or sync with your calendar.
What happens after the free trial?
Your calendar and all your data stay intact. You choose a monthly ($15/month) or annual ($120/year) plan to keep using UCals. No surprise charges — you only pay if you actively subscribe. If you decide not to continue, your data remains exportable as ICS files.
Your calendar, managed.
